For this project you are to dress up as one of the characters from the story you read. Then, as that character you will tell about a chapter or a scene from the story, or you could give a summary of the main parts of the story.The point of view is to be 1st person. The time alotted is 1-2 minutes. Come to school prepared for the day you are to be videotaped. Be creative! Have fun! Do your best!

Follow these steps to a successful project:

• Choose a good book that you can relate to.
• Decide which character you would like to portray.
• Write a summary of a scene or favorite part of your book.
• Rehearse the summary until you know it well.
• Gather all necessary costume ideas, props, etc. for your character representation.
• Videotape your performance.
